I wanted to play with a minimalist abstract style. Abstract art is definitely a playground for me, an experimental ground without bounds. I don't care if each piece looks anything like the rest of my "style" or if it fits into a collection. And yet, there came the moon, as she often does in so many of my free-range explorations.
She's green and blue and gold. She's suggestive. She's envious and humid and her eyes have adjusted to the dark night. She's depressed but deliriously wallowing in the depths.
"Melancholia" is a work in progress, acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas, 18 x 24, and will be available as the original and as prints.
